Privacy policy

Plain English, because most of the people reading this are parents signing up a child.

What we collect

When you register for an event we ask for:

• •The player's name and date of birth — the date of birth is used only to place them in the right age group.
• •An email address and phone number, so we can reach you about the event.
• •A parent or guardian's name when the player is under 18.
• •An Instagram handle, if you choose to give one. This is optional.
• •Whether you'd like marketing email. This is a separate choice and is off unless you tick it.

We never ask children for information directly. Players under 18 are registered by a parent or guardian, who provides the contact details.

Card payments

We do not see, handle or store card details. Payments are taken on Stripe's own hosted checkout page. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded and the amount.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make the site work. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

• •Vercel — website hosting.
• •Resend — sending your registration confirmation.
• •MailerLite — marketing email, and only if you opted in.

Photos at events

We photograph our events and may post the images on this site and our social channels. Registration includes agreeing to this, and for a player under 18 the parent or guardian agrees on their behalf. Tell us at check-in if you'd rather not appear and we'll respect it. See the waiver for the full wording.

How long we keep it

Registration records are kept while we need them for the event and our own accounting. Marketing email is kept until you unsubscribe — every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately.

Asking us to delete it

Email contact@extratimeathletics.com and ask. We'll remove what we hold, other than records we have to keep for tax or payment-dispute reasons.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your light or dark mode preference is stored in your own browser and never leaves it.
